Welcome to Outdoor Adventure Girls. We are an outdoor community providing safe and inclusive environments for women to reconnect with nature and the outdoors, through our local meetups, weekend getaways, international trips and training days.

Our mission is to create a safe and inclusive environment for women to feel confident outdoors, connect with other like-minded women, and challenge the lack of representation of women in the outdoor space. We are passionate about mental health and the huge burden women carry throughout life, giving them the time to recharge, reset, and become their authentic selves when they attend our trips

Sophie set up the group following being sexually assaulted in her early 20s and spent years feeling isolated, scared, and alone. She wanted to show women that they have the confidence, resources, and support to get outside. Sophie has worked with the Ministry of Justice’s government campaign, It Still Matters. The campaign urges victims of sexual violence to seek support, no matter when it happened.
